  • A new nonprofit organization called Dance Out Diabetes is launching with its inaugural dance event in San Francisco on World Diabetes Day, November 14, 2010! Due to its novel approach to diabetes prevention and management, Dance Out Diabetes will be featured on one of 15 health segments in the World Progress Report documentary hosted by Joan Lunden, airing worldwide in February 2011.


  • Get involved with the National Physical Activity Plan launched in 2010! The Plan is closely allied with first lady, Michelle Obama's, efforts to prevention obesity in children called "Let's Move."
